Job Type: Entry-level Technical Support/Customer Service
Customer Support Representatives are responsible for incoming inquiries by phone, email, and live online chats. Primary areas of responsibility include learning about Webii's product offerings and sharing technical knowledge / problem solutions with customers.

Qualification / Requirements:

  • Excellent communications skills
  • Up-beat and self-motivated persona
  • Familiarity with regular use of computers
  • Good familiarity of the Internet
  • Good familiarity with e-mail use and setup
  • Familiarity with web hosting and/or web design
  • Self-disciplined and quick-learner
  • Ability to manage daily tasks efficiently
  • E-commerce software experience a plus
  • Bilingual in any language a plus

Job Type: Outbound Sales Representative
This position seeks a highly motivated, aggressive Sales personnel to assist with generating new customer leads and to promote new customer sales.  Interested applicants should possess the following qualities:
  • Experienced in the Sales Industry; Experience in Web hosting/Internet Related Sales a Plus
  • Self-motivated with a positive "go-getter" attitude
  • Able to locate new prospects and build new customer relationships
  • High-level outbound communication skills in a variety of mediums
    (eg: phone, email, in-person)
  • Familiarity with Web Hosting/Technology trends a big plus

Job Type: Unix Systems Administrators / Programmers
This position will be responsible for administrating multiple Solaris 2.6 severs. Servers are running on Apache 1.3.x web server software. Interested individual must have familiarity with Perl and shell scripting. Knowledge of mSQL, Postgresql, MySQL, Python, and JSP a plus.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite as well as the following technologies: HTML, HTTP, FTP, NNTP, SMTP/MIME, POP3, IMAP4, SSL, CGI, DNS, DHCP, qmail, Apache Web Server 
  • Perl, C++, CGI, SH
  • Experience with Solaris installation, implementation, and on going support
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Knowledge of Python and Java Servlets a plus

  • Some technical background a plus

Job Type: Internship Opportunities
Webii often opens its doors to college students seeking work experience by means of an internship. Interns may learn a variety of communication skills as well as become familiar with various modern technologies.

When working alongside our technical support staff, the intern will engage in common day to day tasks that supply our customers with supreme customer service and technical assistance.

A technical support representative generally conducts the following duties:

  • Answer incoming emails from customers about their account features and technical issues.
  • Answer incoming phone calls regarding technical questions or issues with current customer accounts.
  • Become familiar with current technologies and research information to assist in troubleshooting customer issues.

When working in general customer service and office administration, an intern may engage in some of the following activities:

  • Answering incoming phone calls from persons asking general questions about Webii services, or from existing customers with general questions about their account.
  • Answering incoming emails regarding general sales related questions about Webii services.
  • Day to day office tasks such as writing light correspondence, organizing information into spreadsheets, data entry, and sorting mail.
