Inventory Tracking in PowerCommerce

The PowerSoftCart area includes an Inventory Control feature to specify inventory levels for certain products and indicate when a product is out of stock.

The product editor allows the merchant to set an available number of stock and reserve a minimal amount of that stock for a safety net. Each time an order is placed, the shopping cart deducts from the available inventory. When the available number has diminished, an "out of stock" message will display in place of the price and the buy button disappears.

The out of stock message is customizable and the merchant can manually check a product "out of stock".
