OC48 Connection to the Internet

WebXess now has a fiber-optic OC48 pipeline leading into its server room, which has a capacity of 4,976.64 Mb/Sec (4.86Gb/Sec), equivalent to 96 T3 circuits, or 2,688 T1 circuits! Connectivity is supplied to multiple Backbone providers for speed, capacity, and redundancy. Internet Backbone level routing: WebXess uses Top of the line Cisco 12000 and 7500 Series Routers.
