Webii recently implemented a spam filtering system on each server, to assist our customers in combating spam emails. We utilize real time spam lists to identify recognized spammers and block them from our network.

Additionally, in response to the frustrations expressed by many of our customers regarding virus emails, Webii explored ways to help prevent masses of virus emails from reaching our customers' inboxes.  As a result, we recently upgraded a virus filter that has already helped to block out approximately 98% of virus email sent to our network. Please note that our technical support department still strongly recommends implementing virus protection tools on your local computer.

FAQ updates! Webii has been working to expand and improve its online support documentation, in an effort to provide the most relevant up-to-date information to our web hosting customers.  Those who haven't visited the FAQ lately may check it out to notice additions such as the convenient search feature, the quick control panel login, as well as additional questions and answers in several of the knowledge base subjects.

Webii has added two new convenient features to all hosting plan types!

The "disk space usage email notification" feature is located within the site statistics area of the Control Panel. This feature allows customers to set up an email alert for a specific amount of disk space usage, aiding them for better planning of their web site content. Visit our FAQ for more information.

 Also, an "image protection" feature has been added to the Web FTP area of the Control Panel.  This security feature restricts the ability of outside parties or web sites to link to images within your account. Sometimes, unauthorized web sites will link to images from your own account within the "img" tags of their web site, often causing massive traffic to your account and quickly deminishing bandwidth. With "image protection", you may specify certain parties who are allowed to link to your images, while causing all unauthorized parties to view only a "broken image". Webii is currently beta testing ASP technology for the possibility of releasing it as a new feature in our Web hosting plans. WebXess.net has a great new look!  We have entirely re-designed our web site to allow for improved navigation, as well as new features such as our live operator chat function!   Customers who are new to the Internet can also refer to new helpful information in order to help guide them through the purchase process.  More importantly, our online support pages remain extensive and at your fingertips 24 hours a day.

Our easy-to-use online control panel just got better! The Control Panel was upgraded to give
customers more convenience in administrating a site. Minor bugs that were found in the former
version have now been repaired. Also, we have added a new autoresponder feature which allows you
to create your own autoresponders without the requirement to request our assistance. As before, all
of our hosting accounts are complete with the control panel feature.
